Now that you’ve registered your team and paid your entry fee, here are steps for verifying eligibility:
Complete eligibility documents for each player:
FMs and below can EITHER:
Fill out the eligibility form, and have your school registrar complete and stamp it. Bring completed form to on-site registration. OR
Scan or photograph of: your unofficial transcript AND your student ID. Bring these items to on-site registration.:
IMs or GMs
Fill out the eligibility form, and have your school registrar complete and stamp it. Bring completed form to on-site registration.
Upload the completed eligibility documents to the US Chess College Committee using this form.
Plan to bring the eligibility documents with you to the tournament.
If your team will play in the Open Section, all players must have FIDE IDs. For each player who doesn’t have a FIDE ID, please fill out the FIDE ID request as soon as possible.
Team Captain signs up to submit team lineups each round. Sign-up will be open on or before onsite registration.
Check in at the tournament with eligibility documents for all players.
Captain submits team lineup at least 90 minutes before each round.
